IGP Pays Sympathy Visit to Borno State Over Devastating Flood

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, paid a sympathy visit to Borno State today to commiserate with the government and people over the destructive flood that ravaged parts of the state.
Accompanied by top police officials, including the Deputy Inspectors General of Police for Finance & Administration and Operations, as well as the AIG Airwing, the IGP visited the Government House to offer heartfelt condolences to Governor His Excellency Prof. Babagan Zulum. The Governor of Bauchi and other dignitaries were also present.
During the visit, the IGP extended his deepest sympathies and pledged to reconstruct damaged police facilities. He reaffirmed the police force’s unwavering commitment to national security and urged commanders to uphold law enforcement excellence through dedication and professionalism, even in the face of adversity.
The IGP also encouraged the police to support the government’s efforts to restore order and revive the community’s stability, which has been severely impacted by the flood.
