A retail domestic Gas Shop owner who is identified as Alloy Ukpai , popularly called Alloy Jesus was said to have beaten one of his apprentice to death over missing of a thousand naira note
The incident was said to have occurred in his residents at No 2 Salako Street, off Moyo Agoro Street Ogba , a suburb of Lagos State Southwest Nigeria .
The incident which occurred on Monday the 10th January 2022 .
According to a neighbour who pleaded ananomity, co tenants who rose from their sleep around 2am with the shouts of Alloy Don kill person to meet a twelve years old boy lying dead and lifeless in his own blood.
According to his fellow apprentice who they serve the same boss said, “the victim who was identified as Sunday was accused by their Oga one Alloy Ukpai who runs a retail domestic Gas Shop known as Alloy Jesus Gas on the same street of misplacing one thousand naira.
“This man popularly known as Alloy Jesus and a known preacher was said to have started beating this young boy from 12 midnight till around after one that faithful day.
” On noticing that the boy was dead, Alloy unlocked the door of the room he had locked his two other apprentice and asked them to follow him to the shop to collect money to take Sunday to the hospital.
” On getting to the shop, he packed all the money over a million naira and told one of the boys to wait at the shop and carries the other one on his bike telling him they were going to get drugs for the injured boy. On getting to the street gate, he told the boy to come down and cross on foot while he drove through so the security will not stop them only for him to zoom off once he had crossed the gate.
” He called the boy on phone and asked him to go and meet his second in the shop.
“It was at this point that the boy suspecting something was wrong went back home, opened the room and met Sunday’s lifeless naked body on the floor and raised alarm.
” The case was reported at the Pen Cinema Police Divisional Headquarters of the Lagos State Police Command who came to evacuate the corps.
As at the time of writing this report, irate youths we’re seen vandalising the two shops belonging to the now on the run Alloy Ukpai.
Effort to reach out to the Lagos Command Police Public Relations Officer proved abortive as at the time of reportage
