Suspected attackers of the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, have been arrested.
A trending video shows a crowd of protesters at palace of the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye on Thursday evening.
The youths are resisting the transfer of the suspects to the State Police Command headquarters in Akure.
They expressed the fears that the suspects might escape justice.
It will be recalled terrorists had on Sunday, June 5 invaded the church and murdered about 40 worshippers, including women and children.
The Police had confirmed that some of the assailants disguised as congregants and fired shots from AK-47 rifles.
They also announced that three unexploded Improvised Explosive Device at the scene (IEDs) were recovered.
