In the drive to standardize and strengthen NAOWA Institutions, the President Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association, Mrs Salamatu F Yahaya commissioned additional fully built block of 6 Classrooms at NAOWA Nursery and Primary School 9Brigade of the Nigeria Army Cantonment,Onigbongbo Ikeja Lagos

Mrs Salamatu Yahaya remarked that the classrooms were constructed to provide additional space to accommodate more pupils and also to enhance learning activities. NAOWA President therefore supported the efforts of NAOWA 81 Division  of standardizing NAOWA assets by donating a Unit of Digital Duplicator, Computer System and other office equipment to the School.

While acknowledging the efforts of past NAOWA leaders for putting strong foundation for NAOWA schools, the president noted that presently NAOWA has adopted an energetic approach towards standardizing of all her institutions through structural development, staff training, adequate resource management and provision of state-of-the-art equipment for her schools.

Also, by way of showing appreciation to the staff of NAOWA Nursery and Primary School 9 Brigade, Nigeria Army Ikeja Cantonment for putting in their best in providing quality services in the School.

In her remarks, the Chairperson NAOWA ,She said, that ,”  A very good evening to everybody here but it is important I recognize, The General officer commanding 81 division, Nigerian Army, as well as The Brigade Nigeria Army,  Brig Gen Isong Akpaumontia , we thank you and of course the chair person NAOWA and the Zonal Co-coordinator NAOWA.

I thank you very much for the warm reception. I sincerely appreciate actually I was stunned because I wasn’t expecting this and I wasn’t told that they will be another commissioning expect at the late hours but this is a very good one, and it shows a brigade chapter and the world chapter has keyed into my vision of sustaining legacies and upholding independent of unity and to humanity.
The person who started this school, Mrs. Oyebade is somebody I really and truly admire she is one of those persons that has left her mark, huge mark in many places. She has served as a presiding officer of NAOWA. I was fortunate to have been the chairperson NAOWA one day chapter in Kaduna and the NAOWA model Nursery and Primary school, Nigeria Army, Ribadu cantonment, Kaduna, In one of the ideal settings for model Nursery and Primary School and that of ideal setting of Mrs. Oyebade in this so far anything you are doing today in this NAOWA model Nursery and primary school, Ikeja.
It means you are just keying into the legacies of one of our family members, and it is good that we all know that what will strengthen the NAOWA narratives.
It is good because the NAOWA institution has become an employer of Labour, a source of income to many families; we gave many families a sense of purpose. We have something that will give them a sense of achievement.

That is something that NAOWA narrative is all about, about helping others especially those that are less privileged. Not only that, investing in Education is the best form of investment that you can make, if you have an enlighten mind, an intellectual mind, you have solved half of your problems. So what we have done is adding value to capital development.
And we thank you for that, we sincerely appreciate you.

Also Speaking, the Brigade Commander,  Brig Gen Isong Akpaumontia ,said in his Keynote address that, ” When we came to the place we discover that the block was peeling and the same place was sandy and we thought it is not going to be comfortable for the children, we taught we should just go ahead with the intervention of the officer commanding 81 division, we invited them and they supported us, that we should
