LASEMA receives *OUTSTANDING AGENCY OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has added more feats to her feathers as she bags another award as the Outstanding Agency of the Year at the just concluded 2022 Press Week.
The Lagos Television Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists has recognized the invaluable contributions of LASEMA to humanity through it’s dynamic style of service to Lagos State and other neighbouring States.
As part of activities marking the year 2022 Press Week, the Agency was honoured with this award at the Combo Hall of Lagos Television on Friday, 18th November,2022.
While receiving the Award on behalf of the Agency, the Permanent Secretary-LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu appreciated the organisers of the programme for deeming it fit to honour LASEMA with the Outstanding Agency of the Year Award. He affirmed that the administration of Mr. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has provided the political will for the Agency to fulfil its ministerial responsibility of managing emergencies and disasters thereby improving on the *GOLDEN HOUR* (the hour between life and death).
He concluded by stating that LASEMA will continue to deliver on its mandate and assured the people of Lagos State that safety of lives and properties of Lagosians is paramount to the present administration.
