The Nigerian Army has confirmed the murder of Major General Hassan Ahmed, a former Provost Marshal.
Town Crier News Nigeria had earlier reported how the military boss was gun down ,by Gunmen early hour on Friday night.
The ugly incident was said to have occurred close to the Abaji area of Abuja.
However, fresh details has emerged as against reports that his wife was abducted during the attack, it has been confirmed that the gunmen kidnapped major General Hassan Ahmed’s sister, Safina Ahmed not his wife.
The siblings and the deceased’s driver, Sergeant Bukar were returning to the nation’s capital from Okene when they were attacked.
It was also revealed that Major General Hassan Ahmed didn’t travel with his Patrol team
Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu confirmed the death in a statement early Friday morning.
