Davido’s dad donates N1bn to church in late mother’s honour

Adedeji Adeleke, the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited, father of Davido, a Nigerian musician and Sharon, has donated N1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim Church’s Centenary Endowment Fund.
He donated the money during a thanksgiving service at the church headquarters, Lagos and said the contribution was made in memory of his late mother,a former senior mother-in-israel, Nnena Esther Adeleke.
The Thanksgiving service hosted several prominent figures like The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwoolu and his Ogun state counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
He was accompanied with his brother, Governor Adeleke; the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi; matriarch of the Adeleke family, Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke; the wives of the Governor- Her Excellencies, Titilayo Adeleke and Ngozi Adeleke; the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon Kazeem Akinleye; global music icon, David Adeleke (Davido); House Speaker, Prince Adewale Egbedun; the Deputy Speaker, Hon Ireyode; the Head of Service, Elder Ayanleye Aina; members of the State House of Assembly; members of the State Executive Council; media entrepreneur, Akinrogun Dele Momodu and other top business and political friends of the governor.
