Child Abuse:Mother of 2, Lover Arrested For Brutalising wards In Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a mother, Busola Oyediran and her lover, Akebiara Emmanuel, for allegedly physically assaulting their two children aged five and two.
It was reported that the couple was arrested on Friday in the Egbeda/Idimu area of Lagos, following reports by their neighbours.
Town Crier News Nigeria gathered that neighbours of the couple who saw them subjecting the minors to torture resulting in injuries on various parts of their bodies, alerted the police.
When contacted, the Lagos Command Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest of the couple in connection with the minors’ assault.
