Bobrisky Sent To Prison for Mutilating Nigeria Currency

The controversial crossdresser transgender, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment without an option of fine, for abusing Nigerian currency.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro, of a Federal High Court in Lagos, while sentencing the convict, said the judgment will serve as a deterrent to others that are found abusing and mutilating the Naira, the Nigeria currency.
Before the sentence, the judge asked the convict about his gender, and he quickly replied that he was a man.
The judge ruled that the jail term commences on March 24, 2024, the day of his arrest.
It would be recalled that the court had on April 5, convicted him after pleading guilty to the four counts charge of abusing the Naira currency made against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
