Some operatives of the Nigerian police who assaulted an officer of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) have been reportedly arrested.
It will be recalled that the LASTMA Officer was attacked by the policemen at Yaba after she confronted them for taking one way.
After the attack the policemen refused to take her to the hospital instead took her to the station at Area C command in Surulere.
However, the state commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu, showed utmost dissatisfaction at the incident and stated that any form of indiscipline in the police force would not be tolorated, while also maintaining that the police officers involved in the incident would be duly investigated and punished.
