In line with the Lagos State Government’s bid to meet the healthcare needs of Lagosians, The Lagos state Health service Commission has posted the first ever House Officer to the Isolo General Hospital.
Dr Okpaluba Oluebubechukwu was met on arrival by the management and staff of Isolo General Hospital, led by the MD/CEO, Dr Godwin Akhabhoa.
Dr. Akhabhoa, while welcoming the first House Officer, Dr. Okpalub, told her to feel at home, adding that the staff and patients of the hospital are friendly and warm.
The Managing Director advised her to be of good courage, focused, diligent, dedicated, and hard working. He noted that saving lives is the mission of the hospital, adding that it is committed to achieving and sustaining it.

He assured the House Officer that would do everything to make her comfortable. Dr Godwin Akhabhoa together with the management team accompanied her to the House officer’s lodge.
Responding Dr Okpaluba said,”I appreciate the warm welcome and to my surprise am the pioneer officer, I feel thrilled.”
Dr Okpaluba attended Babcock University where she studied Medicine.
