Houses and vehicles have been engulfed by fire on Monday night along Akinbode Street, off Olateju Street, Mushin, area of Lagos State Southwest Nigeria.
This was made known by the director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs Adeseye Margaret in a statement received by by Town Crier News Nigeria
“Response teams have been activated to the scene of the inferno,” the agency stated.
It however disclosed that restive youths are hindering access to the scene.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service urged members of the public not to panic as the Police and other security agencies have been alerted to intervene and create access to the scene for firemen to quell the ensuing 🔥 inferno
EMERGENCY ALERT
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service command and control room has received an emergency alert that houses and vehicles are being burnt along Akinbode Street, off Olateju Street, Mushin, Lagos.
