Olawale Aganga Williams a Philanthropist noted that his experience in Human relations made the party to elect him to run for Federal House of Representatives in Ojo Constituency
The All Progressives Congress (APC) delegate in Lagos State, Olawale Aganga Williams, has declared his intention to contest for Ojo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Olawale Aganga Williams declared his intention on Saturday before some APC members, market leaders, artisans, friends, and associates at Ojo Primary School Ojo, Lagos.
The former Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-governmental Relations in the state said his passion for public service and the need for qualitative service delivery to people were behind his ambition.
Olawale Aganga Williams , who is also a business man and ex-Chairman AWOF , promised to provide qualitative, discerning, visible, and result-oriented representation if elected.
“As a man who is passionate about public service, I am inspired by the courage and achievements of all the leaders who have charted the path of development for Ojo Federal House of Representatives Constituency,” he said.
“I have decided to challenge myself on what to do for my constituency, the state, and the country.
“For over two decades, I have proved beyond reasonable doubt that I am someone to be trusted with public office. I have shown accountability and transparency in service both home and abroad .”
Olawale Aganga Williams noted that his experience in public humanitarian service made the party to elect him as delegate .
“Now, I believe it is high time for me to yield to the clarion call of my constituents to represent Ojo Federal Constuency in the House of Representatives come 2023.
“I will also leverage on the experience of the best hands in Ojo Federal Constituency to provide the desired representation in every sense of the word to my constituents,” he said.
Olawale Aganga Williams said that if elected, he would devote efforts to ensuring that the Federal Government recognised the 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
Speaking at the event, Opatola Ajagunmale , an Educationist expressed support for Olawale Aganga Williams candidacy.
Speaking on behalf of the Igbo community, Charles Ogbonna , said that Olawale Aganga Williams carried the non-Yoruba-speaking residents along when he was in abroad .
Similarly, the Chairman of Arewa in Ojo , said the community was fully in support of Olawale Aganga Williams aspiration.
