Police officers attached to Lagos State Command have arrested one Samuel Msughter for allegedly impersonating a Military official.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest to press in Lagos on Friday, saying the suspect was apprehended in Epe-Ijebu Road.

He claimed the suspect was caught while fully dressed in military uniform when escorting goods to their destination.

“The suspect specializes in escorting goods in full army uniform.

“However, an investigation is ongoing to unravel the full extent of his criminality, especially with the uniform.’” he said.

Hundeyin stated that the suspect will be charged to court at the end of the investigation.

The suspect said,” I only accuired the Military Uniform from a friend who is a serving Officer.

” Though we have been together for a while,but I don’t know where he leaves.

” We only meet in a Joint, whenever he got assignment to escort for traveling,is either he go or he gives me the Job.

” I have told him earlier before,I don’t have what to where to enable me escort them to travel,which he assured me to get me Uniform.

” I can only put on the Uniform whenever I want to escort them for traveling , I’m not a robber.

” What I only do is to escort people who will be going from Lagos or any other neighboring town with The Military Uniform so that they will not disturb them on the road.
