Prof (Mrs) Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello has been named the ninth substantive Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU).
Recall Town Crier News Nigeria reported that the Sir David Sunmoni-led Governing Council shortlisted four professors for the coveted office.
Bello, a renowned physiologist, had a brief stint as Acting Vice Chancellor of the state-owned institution after the disreputable ‘Hussein-must-go’ saga which saw the ouster of then Vice Chancellor, Professor Lateef Hussein.
